The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced public holidays to mark the Christmas and New Year festivities.
According to the announcement, Thursday, December 25, 2025, has been declared a public holiday for Christmas Day, while Friday, December 26, 2025, will be observed as Boxing Day.
In addition, Thursday, January 1, 2026, has been declared a public holiday to celebrate New Year’s Day.
