The International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC), alongside its partners, has officially launched the EU-funded Green and Resilient Economy Business Incubator (GREBI) in Juba, an initiative designed to unlock opportunities across the agriculture value chain.
Over the next four years, GREBI will support 350 MSMEs through incubation, acceleration, and improved access to finance. The focus is clear: empower women and youth, strengthen green value chains, and build a more competitive, resilient agrifood system.
This is the kind of long-term, ecosystem-driven approach needed to transform agriculture into a true engine of economic growth. The real impact will lie in how these businesses scale, create jobs, and sustain value beyond the program lifecycle.
What opportunities do you see emerging from initiatives like this in fragile and emerging markets?
